Having 3 center mids and a striker/winger/attacking midfielder is probably an indication that we intend to keep the ball and play a more considered, tight game.

Maybe Gallagher has been given a free role, so he could pop up on either wing or in the middle, which could be difficult to defend against. Having three central midfielders will strengthen that area, but we could be vulnerable in wide positions.

I started listening to the Watford commentators, but it's difficult to hear them above the crowd noise. And as I type this Stringer says something about turning their effects mic up.
