This is an advert. Amazon will pay me a couple of pounds for everyone who joins via my link. Any money I make from this will go towards the forum software license renewal.

If you sign up for a free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime now you'll be able to watch the Watford (3/12) and Liverpool (boxing day) home games for free. 30 day trials are for people who have not been a Prime member before, or have not been a member for a while - they seem to offer the free trial to me around a year after I cancelled the previous one.

If you're not eligible for a free trial you can pay £7.99 for a month.

In addition to their videos and live football you get free next day delivery from Amazon, and access to free ebooks, magazines and music.

You can get the free trial here: https://amzn.to/2OlIVRA

Our of interest Webbo, how much do you make on advertising revenue on this site?

Not enough to cover all the costs of running the site. But I don't run it to make money, and people have been generous with donations when I've asked, so I probably break even.

I could probably make some money by putting banner ads on every page, rather than just for non-members, but I've always said I won't do that. If I post an advert in a thread it's because I think people will genuinely be interested in it.

Thanks Webbo. What a decent chap you truly are.

Ah Jeff, you're a star. Can't believe I've been coming to this site for 15 years now! Ridiculous. But appreciate everything you do to keep it alive.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Amazon do with their coverage - and it's good timing too. I'm at my sister's with the whole family on Boxing Day and she doesn't have Sky or BT etc, but at least with Prime I can watch on my phone (admittedly could with Sky Go too) but hopefully also get it playing through the Smart TV since most have Prime installed already - being able to use your subscription on someone else's TV when you're not home will be a big plus of Amazon's coverage.
