At least it wasnt a wasted journey, very good team performance, I think the radio commentary may have painted a slightly different picture though from the sound of it, on the whole we defended very well, we played some decent stuff and the players showed some real commitment. It was a lot better and hopefully will give us a platform to go and build from.
The one interesting question it does pose, is will Craig keep a winning side especially with Maybury returning, I hope he does. I actually think he will do, he seemed to make some big decisions yesterday, Joey and Tiatto on the bench, Williams not even in the 16, so he is not afraid to make ruthless choices, but is he prepared to do it to one of his own signings.
Interestingly did anyone notice that apart from Dion and Stearman (who has only really been given a chance under CL), the starting line up was all CL signings.
Would not surprise me to see 2 or 3 of Adams signings shipped out in the January transfer window to free up cash for more signings, my money would be on Williams and possibly Tiatto.
