I thought away from home he was a real asset. Great in a backs to the wall situation. He was very solid and a decent player at this level. Major issue was the passing though. It was a real shame that he let himself, the club and the fans down with his actions.

Hobbs is also suspect at distribution as well. Tunchev and Solano were the only ones who did not just hoof it.

Brown was a solid rock and he was rarely beaten to the ball though in the air.

What were peoples impressions of Browny before his ill advised comments ?

Ive never liked the bloke since we signed him. Actually to be honest, I never even heard of him before he came to us!!

It was great to see his no nonsense tackling but that was it for me, overall he was crap!

Great in some games, shocking in others. Very strong in the air, very uncomfortable against quick strikers. Long hoof passes usually went into the crowd.

Good news, clearly never going to play again so may as well offload to free up some money for wages.

Not a bad player but too slow and obviously a twat off it.

So what's the difference between a boot upfield from Brown and a "hollywood" ball from Solano that very rarely found it's target.:102:

one's a hoof, ones a cultured hoof??:102:

Exactly, Solano was not the cultured passer I expected him to be.

Nothing at all. Don't worry, we're not picking on the white English bloke. Solano's shit as well.

A very good tackler and header of the ball, but his decision making and distribution were atrocious and he made far too many mistakes which cost us far too much over the course of the season. I was never a fan tbh.

I thought he (Brown ) had a two or three great games but in the main lacked pace, constantly backed off, and was a liability.

Also, have to agree that most of Solano's long balls were wayward and he didn't impress me either.
