He was probably reflecting on his time at City when he got relegated. I remember that first game at home, Bolton, 4-0 down at halftime and just knew then, after 45 minutes of the season, we were doomed. (Savage played like he didn't give a shite)

It also reflects on how good a job the team and background staff have done to achieve survival against all the odds.
Out of interest, anyone know what were the odds on our survival before we beat WHU?

Not really. It's a pointless exercise to be fair but he has a weird thing again Pearson and doesn't factor in the fact that teams near the bottom are likely to fight more than those mid table.
