This is what id like to see. Id play Dublin as the big target man up front, I chose him over MDV as he can actually head the ball on for Hume to run onto with the midfield and wingers pushing forward. So basically 3-5-1-1

Are you suggesting only one center back? neither sheehan or tiatto are center backs, and they lack the physique to slot intothat role.

i would be interested to see your formation with
Stearman - Dublin - Nils

but i'm not sure sylla and hammil/wilcox would do well tracking back, which is important without full backs.

I disagree MDV can head the ball. His flick ons and defensive headers from set plays are good. He just cant attack a cross, which is something we seemed to have given up on anyway.

Sheehan has to play left back. Johannson is far to imobile to play LB.

I would also play Kisnorbo in the middle with Hughes. Kisnorbo looked good last week against Blackpool and he does the simple things well. This would give Hughes the chance to get forward and do what he is good at. Joey is too much of a headless chicken for me.


Surely one of the coaching staff must point out to the manager that the best teams are settled ones and that bar injury or individual drops in form the team should be the same.

How do we no at the minute if someone is playing well or badly, we dont see them on a regular basis enough to comment, even if we go to every game. The players must be at 6's and 7's because it CL is sending out mixed messages with team selection.

CL will always play Maybury when available,he will not drop him.So if Stearman is to become a regular in the side then it will need to be at Centre Half a position I think he should at least be given a try at.If Dublin is to play it should be up front because at the back he tends to hoof it and all our play bypasses our midfield.Up to me I wouldn't play him at all.

You got no hope asking Sylla to track back, Hamil maybe but as for Wilcox I've hardly seen him run forward never mind backwards. He likes to pass the ball and then stand there either as a spectator or expecting to recieve the ball to his feet. I'd be much happier to see Tiatto on the left and stay there going forward or backtracking not cutting across the field.

our midfield is the weak link! non existent always comes to mind, hence us resorting to the long ball tac-tic too often. no one really opens their gob or make themselves available.

williams has got to be one of the frustrating players i've ever seen. the lad has the talent, he's such a lazy scumbag

I would ditch williams if anyone came in for him. He is overated and does too little for my liking. Doesnt score enough, cant tackle, Doesnt run with the ball, his passing is average especially over medium to long distances. What type of midfielder is he? Answers on a postcard........
