I was there last night and there were loads of pissed up muppets hanging around outside the stadium, you could tell a few of them would end up kicking off... It's really sad that something like this can still happen in this day and age. In fact, with the amount of coppers that were around last night, I'm surprised it did.

We don't know what happened yet. What about the possibility of an epileptic fit, causing a fall, causing a head injury, causing shock, causing a heart attack?

True, but I doubt six people would have been arrested and the Met's Homicide and Serious Crime Command would be investigating if nothing untoward happened. There would have been cameras everywhere around Wembley and I would have thought it would be very easy to rule out foul play with the amount of witnesses and police that would have been around.
I hope it's not the case that this is down to violence, drunken or otherwise, but it certainly looks that way at the minute with the information in the news report. But as Keynes once said, "When the facts change, I change my opinion".

This is a tragedy. The guy was a pupil at a school which my old mum taught at. Dropped her at the airport this morning and glad I didn't know the details as it would have spoiled her trip.

I saw on the news the guy was assaulted, which brought on a heart attack.

I was just one of the local shops. Don't know what radio station they had on but they said on the news that police now believe that there was a scuffle involving a group of fans, including tthe deceased, but that the scuffle was not the direct cause of the bloke's death. They reckon that they will get round to checking the video some time this afternoon. The six arrested remain in custody.
