I'm not so sure there is for what we can afford, if he had a good game he could just be adding to his tag so we might not be able to afford him anyway!

Get rid of Hamill and keep Welsh. One totally useless but at least the other one provides us a option that is viable. Never seen Hamil do anything but can't say that about Welsh.

Sunderland winger Andy Welsh admits he's unsure of his future on Wearside.

Welsh has spent the last two months on loan at Leicester but returned last week after the Championship season finished.

He said: "I went to Leicester to play football and I have done that. What was going to happen to me in the future was never on my mind.

"When people ask about it, I just tell them I do not know what will happen."
