Ndidi looked much better yesterday, aided by the fact that he had the experience of Iborra next to him. Having Gray and Chilwell together on one side of the pitch was a big ask and it looked like West Brom targeted that side in the early part of the game, with a fair bit of success too.
Chilwell and Gray would both benefit from an experienced player working with them, as Fuchs and Albrighton have done in the past. Having the two of them on the same side of the pitch means that they’ll have to grow and learn quickly, but I presume Puel has seen enough of them to think they warrant the chance to prove themselves.
