After that disappointing performance against Arsenal away can City bounce back against West Brom - possibly a more difficult team to beat but they are safe sitting 7 points ahead of us but 14 behind the 7th placed team.

Enough with the boring play for a 0-0 draw and hope that Vardy gets a goal from a breakaway. I hope we go in agressively looking to score and win.

3-4-1- 2 for me. (as if!)

Kasper

Benni
Huth
Fuchs

Albrighton
Ndidi
Drinki
Chilwell

Gray

Slimani
Vardy

More likely lineup from Shakey 4-4-1-1

what I'd like to see

Kasper

Simpson Huth Fuchs

Albrighton King NDidi Chilwell

Mahrez Vardy Gray
Zieler, Benny, Amartey, Kapustka, Okazaki, Musa, someone from the academy or Slim if fit

Drinkwater plainly isn't fit so get him out the team until he is, Mahrez is useless defensively so get him in a position where he doesn't need to and get Gray in the team as well we need as many goal threats as possible

I'm surprised to see Mahrez in your team after you completely slated him in the other thread.

Let's hope he manages to drag a performance out of his 10 team mates.

I slate him because I expect more and in an 4411 we have other options, IE Gray, this system might just get his head out of his arse, besides it was him, Musa (who looks lost) or Kapustka (that I've not seen enough of to say I want him in the team)

Maybe a couple of changes to freshen things upis required Gray for Mahrez Slimani/Oki for Ulloa, It settle for a dull0-0 draw but feel we can nick this 1-2 Vardy Gray

If we sit back like frightened, quality bereft children in this one then we need a good kicking.

Will DD pass a ball forwards that isn't an aimless thwack to nobody?

Will Mahrez make decisive movement with the ball?

Will our midfield actually get forward to support our lonely, innefective striker?

Away from home all of the above remains a problem. We need to grab this game by the horns and show some bollocks and confidence in our ability to play the game.

If we go there and setup negatively we'll probably see the same result as Wednesday, we need to be more positive.

Try and win

Slimani will relish playing against West Brom's big men and we'll need him.

1-4 (McAuley 38, Howard 59, 79, 86)
