How so? Did I miss something?

The difference is that Fryatt is gifted and Hume is technically good. I have seen more as a player in Fryatt in one or two touches (live) to know that he is much more gifted footballer than Hume (also live). Whilst Hume may score two goals in two games, as he is now as a player is as good as he will ever be. :icon_conf

I think I agree with you that Fryatt is a better player based on the bits I have seen from him on highlights and the odd Sky game they show over here. He's not exactly prolific, which may change with decent service. I was really impressed with the goal he scored against Derby at home. But then I also saw him miss a golden chance against Scunthorpe. I'm not sure he is Premier quality, or ever will be...but he has a better chance than Hume.

He isn't.

The full list of players we own with Premier ability is as follows:

  • Elvis Hammond
    Eric Odhiambo
    Shaun Newton
    Jimmie Nielsen
    Joseph Hellings

Can't say I agree Bob but each to their own ... :icon_conf

my team for tonight would be the following: The quicker full backs are to counter Ipswich's main threat. King and Clemence stand more chance of.Hayes and Hume give us a better chance in behind with a bit of pace to play of Fryatt. John and Fryatt are our best finishers, so have to play.

Chambers Kisnorbo McAuley Sheehan/Mattock

Hume King Clemence Hayes

John Fryatt

Subs: Hendo, Campbell, N'Gotty/Stearman, Cort, A Chambers

I think playing without a goalkeeper would be a little risky.

As far as I'm concerned you can have him. He's been feck all use to us.

Just because some individual good players are back it doesn't really mean a lot. From watching the game on Saturday, it's quite obvious that the biggest problem is the general poor quality of passing from the team as a whole.

Holloway needs to seriously improve the whole style of play before we can expect to actually progress up the league table.

Author proved correct.

What?

When did that happen?

Joey is here?

Thank f*ck for that! Let's start the promotion push.

I was just referring to the way people were going "oh Fryatt's back" as if he was William Wallace or something.
