I criticise by my mates for calling NME for the rag of shite it has become. If only there was a 'proper' music magazine, if had the dosh, I would become editor and OX Fox would immediately become chief writer.

i personally dont feel that there is an ultimate best album of all time, purely because you will never get a unanimous decision- i think there is of course lots of great great albums, but i don't think anyone could name one that we would all agree on being the best of them all.

That's the beauty of it - always open to debate.

Personally I can't argue with the #1 choice: best British band of my generation and one of my two favourites along with early Idlewild, which proves the point within my first sentence . #2 on my UK list would be 100 Broken Windows which I am almost positive nobody else will agree with.

Totally agree DD, plus to choice the best you would have to have heard ever album ever sold which is impossible

Just don't get the hype over The Arctic Monkeys,nothing groundbreaking IMO.Mind I don't get the adulation for Kasabian so maybe it's just me...
