Indeed. The problem with the "fans version" is that it is always too fast and in too high a key, resulting in it gradually descending into chaos and most people dropping out way before the end. This may not be brilliant, but at least it sounds possible to sing along with...

The song has nothing to do with that, the fact is that this game IS important. Get through this and the away leg and the Wembley game then becomes important.

Or would you argue against that as well?

I'm not saying that the game is not important. Releasing a song for the play-off semis makes us look small time. Anybody on the outside would think this is our greatest achievement.

No, that was beating Forest which is why that got a DVD
 
Sounds good.

Not really sure how they can make it more like our chant - it's a recorded song with instruments and backing vocals at the end of the day.

I agree. I much prefer Molly Malone or Those Were the Days, although neither is barely sung any more. They seemed like much better anthems to me personally.
 
I actually think this sounds quite good, will be interesting to hear the whole song tomorrow!

Well apparently some people were singing along (even though at the end of the article the words are there in case you didn't know the "terrace anthem")
