Joe out of interest why did you include columns for home and away, and whether they are a rival, when you've clearly indicated in blue rival games and its easy to see if there home or away based on the fixture itself....

I would say that they are there so that the countif formula can be used to calc the numbers of games that meet the criteria of Home / Away / Rivals etc.

But it was stoping you from selcting the cells with them in and therefore stoping you seeing them. Unless your ctrl ` ing the sheet to view cell contents


It didn't stop me at all. I just selected the cell.

D3 holds '=COUNTIF(B3:B10,"h")


No password. No ctrl-anything.
