I agree that we look fecked. The only benefit is that Worthington knows this division and knows how to scrap for points. I expect to see a fighting attitude from our lot on Tuesday, if not, end of story for this season.:frown: :frown: :frown:

our best chance (and i still think 3 points will be enough) is in the next 2 games.

Birmingham are a good side and ((as we proved against ((ok an under par)) derby we can raise our game.

I know i'm optimistic but i see a point here.

The next game will have given the new boss time to formulate a plan to get out of this. Remember - he only joined wednnesday, so only had thurs/friday to assess the strengths***/weaknesses (((**strengths is debatable))).He now has a game under his belt he will know what to do - kelly didn't have a scooby - he WILL KEEP US UP. None of the teams below us would prefer to be where they are rather than us. We have the points on the board. They are playing better than us at the moment but that could change.

We will stay up somehow...

If there is one team in this league that I wouldn't like in control of our destiny, it's us!!

I'm still feeling optimistic......only a little bit now. I think we can still beat the drop......

Well if I told those of you who were lucky enough NOT to witness Monday's debacle that today's performance was about 10 times BETTER than that, just think of how bad Monday was!

And after just listening to Worthington'd post match interview, several times he mentioned the fitness levels of the players..........if a bloke who has been here TWO days can see those players aren't fit enough.....what does that tell you about the so called coaching staff and their training practices?

Going down?

Today's results could not have been any worse for us......we are now 2 ponits off the bottom three..........and I can't see us picking up ANY points if those 'players' continue to play like that.

Feck knows what needs to be done to sort it out, personally I think, and have thought for a while, that those 'players' haven't wanted to play for Kelly all season.......for the most part their performances and results reflect that, but now Kelly has gone.....and I really don't think those tossers can get away from the mindset they have sunk themselves into.......

Going down?

I phoned up RL on the Monday after QPR and said that this lot would be sucked into a relegation fight if they didn't buck their ideas up, and that they wouldn't have the backbone to win that sort of battle......looks like I might be right.

Going down?

I first had those feelings of doom after the defeat at Cardiff.....when the total lacklustre display should've been a rout....and even two lucky goals in the dying minutes gave the scoreline a credibility it didn't deserve...

Going down?

I think MM should've sacked Kelly when he took over....because tbh it's starting to look like it's too late.

Going down?

The teams below us WANT to stay in this division-apart from Luton who seem to have given up completely.
They are fighting their arses off to scramble and claw as many points as they can.....and they are doing it!

Going down?

I think the Sky tv cameras will be fully focused on the Walkers Stadium for our home game v. Wolves to capture the moment when for all the wrong reasons, this squad create Leicester City history......and won't the so called 'Player of the Year' do that same night be a barrelful of laughs??

Going down?

Four games to go....and no passion, spirit or fight anywhere to be seen, the time when it's most needed.

Going down?

I wish I had put money on it after QPR we were 50/1 then.........what prices the odds after today?

Going down?

Based on the previous two months gutless and inept performances, what do YOU think?

I couldn't agree more. I rarely go these days but i saw enough today to tell me this side is going down. The players have gave up, and they ain't bothered.

DIV 1 HERE WE COME :icon_evil :icon_evil :icon_evil :icon_evil :098:

Bring Kelly back :icon_sad: :icon_sad: :icon_sad:
It was Kelly's ****ing fault.

If the players were fit enough, they would have continued to play the way Wortho wanted them to, he said it in his post match interview that they're simply not fit enough

EXACTLY!

Whilst the players have to do their part in making sure they train and keep fit etc it's down to the coaching staff to make sure that all the training and stuff prepares them properly for the rigours of the football season.

I'm starting to think about putting Kelly's name on the hitlist underneath Taylor and Wise........

which would suggest that even if the lads want to fight to stay up they wil lose to the fitter sides anyway.

And its in Our hands, the Doom on here is understandable but way to OTT IMO.

Sadly the doom has taken me over since 4.30 this afternoon. I can't see how we're going to get out of this. Even if we beat Brum we would still only be 5 pts clear with 9 to play for with our game in hand gone.

But seriously where the feck are the points going to come from? Leeds are on a roll - they are safe IMO. Would we really have the balls or the talent to go to Barnsley to win? Can't see it.

Leeds are not safe and have hard matches coming up too.

The only way to get through the next three days is to consider purely the facts and they are that we are two points above the relegation places, we have a game in hand on most and a new Manager who has more experience than RK to turn in points-gaining results.

Help anyone?

Didn't think so...

Wolves at home now looks like the biggest match in the history of the football club coming up.

Interesting you say that cos Gerry Taggart on RL said that Mattock should have been playing weeks ago

bottom line is, it all went down hill as soon as Rob Kelly was sacked.

Perhaps it will Lako, and for some reason I can see us winning that....Then again, I thought we'd get a win at home to Derby...
