There werent many threads that i thought were interesting so i thought i would start this one, no doubt it will get no replies but hey it kept me busy typing for a couple of minutes. Also it would be good to look back on to see who was proved right and wrong

I think that Connolly will end up top scorer, although before wilko and bassett took over i would have said tricky trev, during the Preston game he gave 100% and although looked clumsy at times still looked dangerous. I think he will sturggle to get a game under wilko and bassett though, hope i am proved wrong.

The reason i have gone for connolly is because he is a natural scorer and although he has had a rcoky patch at the moment he only needs a bit of luck and the goals will start going in.

I'm going for Brian Deane as soon as Bassett gets him back!

i still believe connolly will get double figures this year. he just needs a kick start - like the rest of the team.

I think Scowcroft will be our top scorer with 9 goals, then Connolly will get about 5.

Ashley Ward

David Connolly IMO, think he will go on a goalscoring run now as we start our promotion push. 15 goals minimum.

As soon as the manager sort out some decent service for connely he will start scoring. Has the two H's got the brains to sort it out?
When Bassett commentated during the PNE match he noticed the poor service connely was recieving, so hopfully he will sort it out

If Connely gets the service he will be the top scorer
Else it will be Scowie

Our best player this season so far - James Scowcroft.

Can anyone answer me why DD has been so poor in general this term so far?

He's a lazy sod.

I didn't know you could get Double Diamond any more

Hardly surprising that it is so poor, considering the investment made by many other breweries into improving the flavour and consistency of their product. Perhaps it just seems so poor in comaprison to all of the other beers on the market nowadays

He's never been the same since that awful series where he turned into Dexter Fletcher. Also, Gamesmaster's oppression really upset him, such a Sega fanatic.

Derek Dougan, I think he retired a few years ago.
Yes - let's bring him back - he gets my vote. What about Jackie Sinclair too.
