Whats it like in there Boc?

Never been there, but it was recommended to us.

I have a 'Canal Guide' (it is also very near to the Leeds and Liverpool canal) which describes it as ' an old roadside pub serving real ales and inexpensive bar food. Just what we are likely to be looking for after our journey!

That's nearly 5 miles from the ground - is there nowhere within walking distance?

I think it's more like 3 miles than 5 - and just the kind of place where we are likely to get in without all the bothers of places nearer the ground.

These new grounds aren't exactly surrounded by pubs and where there is one nearby it tends to be 'plastic'. The Pub Guide which should be available by clicking on the appropriate place on the Rivals site appears to be nacked.

It's often better to stop some little distance out and then come to the ground at the last moment.

The Adult fare is £13.70* Cheap Day Return with one change at Piccadilly or Oxford Road. Takes about 2 hours to get back - a little less to get there.

4.7 miles shortest, or 5.1 miles quickest according to autoroute.

The arrow on the map wasn't supposed to indicate the location of the pub was it? Because it's not there!

It's a stupid school thing, god knows why but we used to refer to Hinckley as 'Hinckldash' which was later shortened to 'the dash'. I use the term by habit now. Can you book the 'hinckley' coach at the ticket office?

hmmm dont think so. I think you have to be in the supporters club or you have to know someone who runs the coach from hinckley.
