I don't think we are on TV, so why are we playing on Sunday?

Was announced at the start of the season. They moved their boxing day game and we moved this.

tbh they really didn't have much choice with the Boxing Day game, it's only been in recent seasons where they've had a League Fixture, it used to be that Baa Baas clash.
There's no way we would've agreed to move ours even if it hadn't been on tv. How often to do actually have a home match on BD anyhoo! Make the most of it imo.

I don't know if the fixture which clashes with the Ipswich game is a League match or a Cup match, but it's more of a surprise that we haven't had this happen sooner this season.(Or have we and I've just forgotten cos I'm old:icon_roll )

I just don't understand why this is even an issue, whichever teams fixtures come out second should hand a list in of dates where there would be a fixture clash if both teams were at home the same weekend.


It's not exactly hard to sort out, they manage to do it for the teams that share grounds for goodness sake.

Heineken Cup game.

I don't follow rugby at all, but I think it's mini leagues like the Champions League, so it's known in advance what days the games will be. Whether they known back then what games would be at home or away I have no idea, so I presume they had to plan for the game being at home :102:
 
Oh my god, one game has been moved to a Sunday for a Rugby match, which was announced months in advance and everyone is moaning about it. I swear there's less moaning when Sky change the day of the game with hardly any notice.
