Why are we so surprised??

Today was a dead on cert 1-0 Burnley win.

Look at the recent history of the results between the sides:

L B
10.11.07 0 1
08.08.06 0 1
20.02.07 1 0
18.10.05 0 1
19.11.05 0 1
08.03.05 0 0
18.09.04 0 0
18.03.03 2 1
19.10.02 0 1

Think the dates are correct...quickly made a note of them so could be slightly out.

See the general pattern?

Put my money on and gladly collected! Just annoyed I didn't double it up with Andy Gray as scorer as that's what I had told my mate pre game!

I can see a lot of numbers, are they supposed to represent something?

Sorry about the way it came out, it was all in line on my PC but when posted it's shifted the table!

From left to right is date, Leicester score, Burnley score.

I did the lottery once, never won though.

It's actually 29 years since we last beat Burnley at home ... 11 Nov 1978. They were also the first team to beat us at The Walkers Stadium, and the first team to make us switch and play to the north stand first half. (like they did today).

It's hex - it says:
"Leicester City is comprised of a bunch of fckuing cnuts that don't give a shit about you, your money or your support"

Harsh, but true.

Why should we?

We haven't been playing anywhere near the right level to be 'beating teams like this' over the past four years.

Except for when we play Villa, Chelsea or dare I say it, Watford! :icon_conf

Well.....Watford result, based on our form (or lack thereof!), shouldn`t have happened.....looks like we will be clinging to that & the performance against Chelsea at the end of yet another mediocre season! Wonder if we again will be involved in a late scramble for survival?! At least Akinbiyi didn`t score!!

One statistic I find particularly depressing is that even though we have more strikers than you can poke a stick at we have the worst goal-scoring record in the league, albeit QPR are tied with us. Not much point in having the best defensive record in the league if you can't find the net on a regular basis. :icon_conf
