Everyone gets abuse on here. any newbie should read the rules thread and know not to use text speak, and lurking for only a little while before posting will reveal the abusive nature.

I'm guessing that might be because the mods have decided to take away the fun?
I appreciate that maybe giving someone a post or 2 to get know everyone on here before wading in with the personal abuse might be an idea, but I get the feeling that without being able to abuse others, it kinda takes the fun out of posting!
It certainly takes the fun out of reading the threads when there's nothing interesting going on with the football club! Reading the abuse is just pure entertainment and it's why I still read this forum even when there's no news.

Ruth, I agree entirely with you on the first paragraph. I am all for allowing a newbie to find their feet with a few posts and if after that they are still being a plonker then by all means have a pop at them. Failing to do this only discourages new blood.

Once you have found your feet then you have to expect some form of abuse if you are going to post on here for any length of time.

This comment made me intrigued as to what the lovely image that Jeff had posted was.

I duly searched for the Random Image Thread and opened the last page of it to find a picture that Jeff had posted off a slide at Snibston Discovery Park! To be honest I did find that quite shocking, Jeff taking pictures of kiddies play areas but there are much worse images in life Melton. Just like the one that he posted a couple of pages before, I was almost sick whilst in absolute hysterics at the same time!!

Lovely stuff Jeff, would recommend that everyone checks that out! :icon_lol: :icon_roll
