2nd bookable offence, raising his elbow towards QPR players neck/face. I think from the replay you could debate whether he actually went out to deliberately elbow him, or whether it was a case of a normal challenge for the ball.

Correct me if I am wrong but I dont think he has a reputation as a violent player???

according to the QPR player in The Sun match report, Connolly elbowed him in the throat and he thought it was deliberate.

having watched it on tv, i thought it was more of a forearm clashing with his forehead and it looked more accidentalusing his arms for leverage) than deliberate.

heard he offered after Brighton AND after QPR. but the board refused to accept it each time.
