England got to a good position, Windies 239/9 from their 50 before rain came to delay matters. Typical!!

England win easily on D/L. Jessels chuffed to bits.

Quality performance by Strauss which has done him the world of good considering he was considered unlikely to be picked for the World 20/20. He's played himself back into the one day reckoning properly in this series, one of the few bright spots.

Flintoff and KP both picked up knocks.

Stat on Sky Sports....
sixes in this series WI 23 England 3 (2 in tonight's innings) :icon_eek:

Must say that IMO Strauss is one of a few players who can come back from the tour with his head held high. Yes he might have been a bit slow in making some calls, but for his first tour officially as captain he has led from the front.

I think that Lewis guy is the best player we have.

England win the series with a very impressive 5th ODI performance, Freddie getting a hat-trick. Small consolation for a terrible winter.

Had a rather confused conversation with some bloke when watching this in the bar during the interval tonight at Cov Speedway.

'Are England bowling?'
'Yeh'
'Well what's that black bloke doing fielding.'
'That's Mascheras (sp).'
'Well he can't be fecking English.'
'Well there's Anderson running in now.'
'Oh yeh, England bowling.'

That's Cov folk for ya.
