It seems Wigan will have to play their remaining games behind closed doors. Maybe we should refuse to pay policing costs - I think no fans are better then booing fans.

I hope the full story comes out here and exposes the Greater Manchester Police as the robbers that they are. Why should Wigan pay the GMP over 5 times as much as Preston North End have to pay the Lancashire police force just a few miles up the road?

This is not just a case of Wigan failing to pay or being unable to pay.; they just don't see why they should have to pay as much as is being demanded.
