April 1992. If we hadn't lost that game and the one at home to Newcastle the following week, we would have been automatically promoted and wouldn't have had the chjance to hate Speedie.

I was there that day. Can't believe its 14 yrs ago:icon_eek: . I remember the fantastic atmosphere created by the fans. But the team let us down that day, they had a shocker. A warning to those going Cov, cos for some reason over the years i've travelled away, Leicester have saved their worst performances for our largest away followings. Lets hope they do the bizz, cos nothing would please me more against our arrogant inbred neighbours.

Dunno about OT, but we've definitely taken more than 5,000 to other league games - usually when there's something important riding on the match though.
The last time I can remember taking that many was when we played against Charlton at Upton Park. It was their record gate for the time they played there, they had to open up an extra stand because there were so many of us. We could have got promoted if things had gone our way in that match, but we ended up losing and in the play-offs.

What a day - remember the City Fan who scored with a balloon too before kick off? We were shocking...

Wasn't there around 13,000 City fans there that day ay Upton Park.. great atmosphere crap performance..

Reminds me of the large followings we also took to both Manchester sides in both cups and lost horrendously.. 5-1 and 5-0 wasn't it to United and City respectfully..

Was reminesing with a Newcastle fan at work the other day about the 7-1 drubbing.. oh such happy memories..:070:
