According to the Wolves OS

The Teams

Mark Kennedy is passed fit after suffering slight Achilles problems. Vio Ganea makes the bench along with youngster Mark Davies.

Wolves: Oakes, Naylor, Olofinjana, Lescott, McNamara, Cameron, Kennedy (c), Edwards, Ndah, Cort, Clarke. Subs: Ganea, Seol, Gyepes, Postna, Davies.

Leicester: Douglas, Maybury, Kisnorbo, hughes, McCarthy, Sylla, Dublin, De Vries, Johansson, Gudjonsson, Hamill. Subs: Hume, Henderson, Wilcox, Stearman, Hammond.

4-3-3 or 4-5-1

No Hume again.............Unbelievable!!!!

true..

gonna get my 300th post today, hope it will be for a city goal, somehow I doubt it though, especially with this defensive formation and no Iain Hume

Especially as CL has chosen this side to frustrate rather than to win. :icon_eek: :icon_sad: :102:

Like you mentioned in the week Steven it looks as though we are fielding a side to contain Wolves rather than trying to impose our own style on the match.I hope Hughes gets forward a lot or else we are in the shite again

I think it's horrible how we keep doing that. A team looking to get in the playoffs shouldn't be lining up in every away game to just try and defend. Especially since our defence hasn't been very strong. If we just sit and defend, we will concede, and we don't score enough to be sure of getting back into it.

I think this is a bad formation today from CL, but we'll see how it goes. Interesting to see Nisse at LB for the first time, and I am glad to see Hammill come into the team! :) Disappointed there's no Hume though :( If we're behind, we need to get him on earlier today than before. It's a weird formation because De Vries holds the ball up for others, and we don't really have any goalscoring midfielders!

4-5-1, let's hope it works! Come on City!

I think this is a team designed to be difficult to break down, although with Hughesy and Sylla in the team we will be looking to hit them on the break. I would imagine CL will be looking for us to keep it very tight and make it hard for Wolves to impose their style on us and to fustrate the notoriously demanding molineux crowd. I am disappointed that Hume hasnt made the starting line up but it could be that he is still not up to scratch fitness wise, however I would like to see him be given 45 minutes today.

Nice to see CL willing to change around his formation and tactics, but I am disappointed to see yet another change at left back.

What concerns me most is still the constant changing of the back four. Every successful team has at its heart a regular back four. Now we have Nils at left-back following Maybury, Sheehan and Gilbert. Surely he should know by now who he wants at left-back? Surely Sheehan deserves another go - at least he gave us some set-piece options. And I'm fairly sure that Nils said when he joined that we was glad he wouldn't have to play at left-back anymore.

And for goodness sake give Hume a start!

Intersting CL says he still hasn't played what he thinks is his best XI,are we to take it Gerrbrand is in there ?
