Having watched the half-time analysis I've changed my mind (I missed the goal in real time). It was offside. Black and white. No goal.

BR to sort them out
If any changes, I’d bring Praet on for Youri
I’d also tell Harvey, when Ben comes forward with the ball, get on the shoulder of the last man, don’t come backwards!

Awful first half from us. We're only still in this because Wolves don't seem that bothered either.

This 4-1-4-1 is only effective when the players move the ball quickly and the players move off the ball quickly. We're doing neither which means that we just look tedious.

I really, really, cannot stand Maddison. I can't wait for the lazy show pony to feck off to Man Utd where he belongs with all the other wankers. Praet is a much better team player. If Rodgers had any guts, he'd make that change at half time.

On the disallowed goal, it was offside. Why do people complain about it or deny it or say it shouldn't count? Fecking idiotic.
Take a Vallium.

Do people complain when Hawkeye shows that a serve is one millimetre out of court in Wimbledon? No they don't! We should actually appreciate this decision as by the letter of the law it was correct.

Wolves happy to sit back as usual, which is poor from them. Again we have a lot of the ball and do next to nothing with it. We really need to stop gifting opponents space in the fullback areas as well. Maybe start Justin with Ricardo in right midfield on that side so we've got Ricardo to run at defenders but don't risk too much at the back when there's a turnover...

We have looked so susceptible in defence over the last few months. At the other end it's hard to break down teams that are intent on playing anti-football but it doesn't help when you've passing it the wrong way at a snails pace. We've not had enough drive and creativity up top and in midfield. So far despite the possession we've been second best and very lucky we're not behind...

Decisions like that are a bunch of arse, honestly. Again, though, it’s not the application of the technology per se but the rule that is the issue. Being half the width of a toenail offside gives nobody an advantage.

Offside is offside, that is black and white. Advantage or not is not relevant. I have no issue with this. But my god, a defender has to assault someone or pick up the ball and juggle with it for a penalty to be given. The inconsistency in the two is the BS for me.
