You give FIFA some moey & get your name plastered all over the place. In return they give you a shed load of tickets, which you flog to touts, recouping most of what you paid. They are then sold on to fans, who have access to only a tiny proportion of "legal" tickets. Then declare an amnesty on tickets sold by touts.

So the fans pay through the nose and the money goes out of the game. Brilliant.

Are FIFA officials on a % from the touts do you reckon?

The irony of your comment is that the kid is pissing against a NIKE advert and it is NIKE-clothing that is being banned from the WC stadiums because ADIDAS are objecting.

Both Adidas and Nike have put out statements denying that one. The real barstewards on this are Budweiser. I look forward to a rash of legal actions against them, FIFA and the stewards form the Dutch supporters forced to throw their trousers into a rubbish skip.
