World snooker at the crucible.

Will probaly pass most of you by, but the championship starts in around 2 weeks time.To anyone interested , there is a young man that i've known since he was about 10 who is a great talent.
The young man in question is Mark Selby. Mark joined the pro ranks around 4 years ago and as climbed to 42nd in the world rankings. He's already defeated many of the games top players including Hendry,O'Sullivan, Paul Hunter and others. Being unseeded for the world championship he was certain to be drawn against 1 of the top 16 players and the draw didn't disapoint with his foe being John Higgins in the first round.Lets hope this young Leicester lad can put up a real fight.
Good luck to Mark Selby.
Also not to forget Tom Ford who didn't make it to the crucible this year but like Mark his ranking is around the 50's and another great talent from Leicester.

Last spoke to Mark Selby about 3 weeks ago when he played for a pool team against us in Blaby. At that time he still had a couple of rounds to get through to make it to Sheffield, and so never thought of asking about tickets.
