All over bar the shouting. Goood comeback from Selby, but he seemed to lose the plot in the last few frames and start playing pool type shots.

Typical Leicester, show signs of improvement and then not bother turning up when it matters and just throw it away.

Good final though

Game, set and match!

A fantastic effort by Selby this afternoon, unfortunately Higgins was too good at the end. One of the best couple of days snooker I've seen for a long long time. Pure brilliance! Both players have been fantastic, both deserve a lot of praise.

Higgins is the World Champion. :038:

Our former chairman was there to hand out the dosh.

Just rewinded on sky+ .... Did you see Higgin's face when Ray Stubbs read out £220k ... Higgins was loving it.

Now that Mark Selby's got £110k burning a hole in his pocket, maybe nows the chance to go to his agent Jeff and strike a deal on the url ?? Maybe you could flog him some other services - web page design etc ??

He did brilliantly to comeback in the way he did but everytime he got close he lost it.

Oh well at least he can play my brother in their rearrnaged pool match now which he had to cancel as he kept getting through in this tourny, incosiderate git.;)
