Yes, I'm ashamed to say I would.

Before the nutters start lambasting me, the question was "accept" not "desire"

I would accept it simply because I think they are a better team than us at the minute. In the same way as I would accept a defeat against Chelsea. I won't accept us not trying though.

I seriously can't believe that you lot wouldn't accept a defeat to remove this man.

In future, I want to hear no more compalints about Rob Kelly from those that have voted no. If this man stays in charge we will always be where we are, if he goes, we will move forward at a rapid rate of knots.

I guess you must all care more about keeping Rob Kelly as manager than you do about this club moving forward, sad really

i think you are getting us wrong melts i want kelly out but we need the points to be safe so we have to start winning and like hazza said RK will be gone at the end of the season

But that wasn't the question

I think we might have to accept defeat regardless of kelly being sacked. kelly will go. whether its before the end of the season or in the summer, he will go.

I would accept the defeat if it gets him to leave.

sadly i would probably accept it anyway, i'v given up caring about what happens this season

Melts, as much as you are desperate to see RK sacked now, don't you think it would be better to wait until the end of the season? as who would takeover from now until then.
I don't think we can rely on Mike Stowell to be caretaker manager but possibly Gerry Taggart could fill the gap?

IMO we should not employ a permanent replacement for RK now although I know there are a few on here that would say bring in Newell, I think that the summer is the best time to seek a replacement and have a fresh start next season.

That wasn't the question

I know it wasn't, but I also know your feelings on the current bunch on coaching staff which is why I posted the question to you.

My answer to the question "would I accept defeat at Stoke" would have to be no as I never accept defeat of any LCFC side.

I saw the question on another forum and thought I would ask it here. I agree with you, broadly, but these are exceptional times and as long as RK is in charge, I find it difficult to see where the next point is coming from. :icon_conf :icon_conf

That's my fear, but who do we replace him with in the interim? Will a caretaker get this squad of players winning matches?
