This second half is the first pre-season action I've seen. As with every single other pre-season game, it is completely meaningless and there is absolutely nothing to be taken from it.

I don't feel like we have enough pre season games.
Only 2 to go, plus the Community Shield but that will be taken more seriously in terms of lineup and less subs.
I feel like we need an extra game. Players have only done 45 mins in each game so far, and a lot of sharpness to be worked on before then.

I took that Hamza is still Hamza even in a pre season game...
Needless aggressive challenges. Out of position defensively. He's a defensive mid who can't tackle or hold his position, sadly.

Is he a defensive midfielder though? I mean, he tackles people (or tries to), but I see him more as a box to box style midfielder, who gets asked to play in a defensive role and it doesn’t particularly suit him.

He's often linked with Newcastle and tbh I think that's where he belongs. Not meaning it as a criticism of their fans but a lot of his stupidity will be lauded as "playing for the shirt" and rather than being seen as a liability as he is for us he'll be a cult hero who "loves the toon" and an honorary Geordie.
