Hi everyone, I have decided to set up a league Fantasy Football game on the free Yahoo Fantasy Football, but if there is enough interest will have a very exciting addition.
I am creating a competition to go with it only for users of this board, I will keep track of this competition on a web site. It will be called the Talking Balls Fantasy Foxes Competition. The format for the competition is as follows:
It will follow the format of the English leagues, as in 20 teams in the TBFF Premiership, 24 teams in the TBFF Championship and so on depending on how much interest there is.
You can change your Yahoo team weekly. The league I give you to sign up with in the yahoo group bears no resemblence to which TBFF league you will be placed in. This will just be so that I can see how everyone has done each week. The TBFF league you are placed in will be decided by a draw that will take place next Thursday (12th August). People who join after this date will join at the bottom the TBFF.
Each TBFF season will end on the last day of every month. Scores will only be totalled up monthly, and will begin from 0 at the start of the following month, with all relegations and promotions taking place then and a new league starting on the 1st of every month. The only exception to this will be April and May, which I will join together due to the lack of matches in May.
I will also keep a record of total points throughout the year for all the leagues on the web site so that we can see overall how everyone has done.
If you wish to sign up, PM me your e-mail address and what your team will be called so I can recognise you when you sign up and I will invite you into the league. REMEMBER the league that I invite you into DOES NOT MATTER, it is just so that I can see your scores every week. It is the TBFF league that you are drawn in next Thursday that does matter.
I will announce a web site address as soon as possible.
