Indeed. I never felt we could go down but it's nice it's going no further down to the wire than this. Promo push next season let's hope.

Lets hope the performance from tonight carries on for the last 2 games and gets better for next season!
Now Levein can try some things out in the last 2 games hopefully.
Actually, we're not 100% mathematically safe yet...wouldn't it be typical Leicester to lose about 6-0 in our 2 remaining games!

I was thinking...Connolly's recent form has been pretty good, and without him we'd be in really bad trouble now. Hasn't he got about 13 goals for the season now? I was expecting about 20 from him, so considering the rest of the team has been so poor all year, then in the end I don't think his goal tally is too bad....it's just that we don't have another goalscorer that's the problem. Get a decent striker to play with Connors next year and better service, work on the set pieces and silly fouls and we're sorted!

I really think the addition of Stephen Hughes has helped Connolly. Whenever I've seen them play they seem to be on the same wavelength (they are both intelligent players). I don't necesarily think we need a target man now, Hughes is decent on the ball, and with a decent ball retaining central midfielder I think our play can go through midfield more.
