On a related subject I see that City announced yesterday that the 'Foxes Faithful' would have to travel 94 fewer miles to see every away game next season. This encouraged me to work out the comparative figure if I were to similarly attend every away game.

The longest of my new trips would be the 636 mile round trip to Blackpool, but most of this is cancelled out by losing the Preston trip (602 miles). West Ham and back at 144 miles similarly balances the loss of the 162 mile trip to west London for QPR.

Long trips to Sheffield United, Scunthorpe and Swansea are replaced by the almost adjacent (ha!) Brighton, Southampton and Peterborough, although a return journey to Brum does put 50 more miles on the clock than last season's trip to Norwich would have done.

2670 miles that now don't need to be done - and 1978 that do. A saving of 692 miles.
