I thought you'd already decided that Jack Hobbs was a big signing.

You should be patient though, even a big club like Preston haven't signed any players yet so what chance have we got? :icon_wink

I was being sarcastic:icon_bigg

I suppose Preston are a MASSIVE club.

Good ole Cliff Ginetta spouting his usual bollocks, talking for the fans. The fans won't give Person ten games if we start poorly IMO. You can see it already with the moaning about lack of signings, the undercurrent is there.

I fear that you are right. The relegation season was notable for both Megson and Holloway being criticised as soon as they arrived - Megson for being dour and Holloway for being cheerful. O'Neill was criticized for a bad run when he arrived. Jimmy Bloomfield was hounded out when he struggled to replace the Weller-Birchenall-Glover generation; we were midtable of the First Division at the time.
Nigel proved last season that he is a good manager. He has a long way to go before he matches the achievements of Jimmy Bloomfield and Martin O'Neill but he can only match them if he is given time.

A few questions for anyone who is kind and generous...........

How do you get to Tamworth from Market Harborough on the train?

How much are tickets for the game?

Will our first team play or will it be the reserves ?

Thank you in advance to any kind person.

I expect the quickest route is to change at Derby, but nationalrail.co.uk will be able to tell you.

Dunno. Have you looked at Tamworth's official website?

Will our first team play or will it be the reserves ?

I expect it will be a stronger team than the one that plays at Loughborough earlier in the day, but probably still a mixture.

Thank you very much BB and Jeff.

Surely the prices won't be as much as normal ticket prices ?

Not gonna ask what that stands for :icon_conf

Wouldn't have thought so, although certain clubs have been known to charge full whack for friendly games against 'bigger' clubs.

12.37 to Leicester
13.04 to Derby
13.36 to Tamworth
Minimum two changes I reckon.

He can do it with one change by changing at Beeston.

Neither of these is a Permitted Route and would need separate tickets to be purchased.

The Permitted Routes require a change at Leicester and then another at either Nuneaton or Birmingham New Street.
