Can't stand Hard-Fi, dire uninteresting bollocks.

I'd say the same was true for Bloc Party!
I'd have to agree on both counts.

Ox, what's Takk like? (I've just ordered it). I have that untitled album by them, (_), track four on that is superb.

Takk is fantastic, a real return to form after the somewhat disappointing ().

Already looking forward to seeing them in March.

I'd say that Bloc Party are one of the best bands to emerge this year. I've seen them live twice and each time as been an enlightening experience to rival anything I've seen in the past five or so years (excluding British Sea Power of course).

As for Hard-Fi, saw then once and was bored, depressed and angry that radio 1 would try to promote their non stop chav rock.

I haven't seen Bloc Party live but on their album they come across like a watered down version of Ride, and Ride were a watered down version of My Blood Valentine.

Do you remember The Pale Saints Ox ?

Nice one, looking forward to giving it a listen.

Where are you off to see them, wouldn't mind seeing them myself.

Pale Saints were a mighty fine band and I can see where you are coming from in regard to Bloc Party. Sadly I never got to see them live which was a real shame.

In fact that's inspired me to dig out The Comforts Of Madness. Cheers!

Ox Fox your av hurts my eyes!

It's actually a hypnotic device that makes people who listen to James Blunt and/or David Gray explode, so be careful.

I've had a rethink and have decided on

Spacemen 3 : How The Blues Should've Turned Out
Doves: Some Cities
Elbow: Leaders Of The Free World
The Warlocks: Surgery
Wilco: Kicking Television
Sigur Ros: Takk
BRMC: Howl
Wedding Present: Take Fountain
Clap Hands Say Yeah: Clap Hands Say Yeah
Dj Shadow: Endtroducing... (Deluxe Edition)

were spacemen 1 and 2 lost in space?

Stars of CCTV - Hard Fi
Hot Fuss - Killers
Employment - Kaiser Chiefs

These are all quality albums, I would probably say Hot Fuss was my fav. :038: :038:

I do like X&Y though, make me laugh that because Coldplay have become sooo big people have decided that Chris Martins voice is annoying! Funny how this was never mentioned when they were just on the seen.

I suppose its just typical English behaviour, as soon as something/somebody becomes massive in the media they are automatically slated as being crap! :icon_bigg
