CP on injuries: "[James] Maddison came back in training, he can be in the squad. For [Harry] Maguire, it is too early. Jamie [Vardy] had a pain in the last game and came back today. We’ll see tomorrow."

CP: “It’s not a pressure, it is a responsibility to continue Vichai’s vision. I was very proud of my team in the last two games.”

CP on Ben Chilwell: "I'm proud of Chilly. He is a fantastic example of what we want from our Academy players. He shows the good work that is being done at the Club.”

CP: “[The international break] was a good thing; Rest for the players, their mind and body. The international players came back with a smile. The other players worked a lot in training. We have to restore all our focus onto football. This is the most important thing.”

I predict:

Schmeichel

Ricardo
Morgan
Evans
Chilwell

Ndidi
Mendy

Ghezzal (if fit)
Gray
Albrighton

Vardy (if fit)

Doesn’t suit our style at all.

I’d be very surprised if he ever started a league game for us again, sadly.

We have a style?

What was wrong with the 'lump it into the channel so Vardy could race past the defenders and smash into the goal' style?

If Vardy and Maddison are both not fit enough to play then we could be a bit ****ed.

I feel like we're massively short in attacking options at the minute - or good ones at least.

Vaguely remember a game down there years ago when we ended up with 9 men.
Melrose days

No Diabate tomorrow suggests Maddison is fit. Ghezzal too.
Maybe it suggests that Ghezzal and Maddison are out tomorrow, but he’d rather play Okazaki or Benalouane or my 90 year old grandmother than Diabate.

As much as we'd all like to see Benalouane playing in his natural role as a tricky winger, unfortunately he can't because he's not in the Premier League squad.
Benalouane attempting to trap a ball could result in the ball fizzing at head height towards our striker, it could work. Less chance of him kicking someone in the back of the head out on the wing too.
