I can see where you're coming from. When he's funny, I can find myself laughing until my face hurts, but he can go through patches several minutes long where not a lot happens.

I love Stewart Lee, his vomiting in Jesus' arsecrack from 90s Comedian is about the funniest thing I have ever seen. I laughed so hard it hurt for about 20 minutes striaght.

That comedy vehicle thing he did last year was shite though, it just seemed like all his discarded b-material to me.
