Colin has upset some of the Palace fans this was on their 606 forum

For me this is unforgivable and I am furious. He was having his wages paid, the club did not need the compensation. He didn't fancy the challenge and he walked. He talks about commitment to the club and praising the players for choosing to stay, then when the going gets tough decides to jump ship. He has abandoned us when we needed him, drastically increasing the chances of us going down.

I for one have lost all respect for the man, and will not be clapping him in the slightest when he comes back in April.

And his pathetic attempt at praising the fans in the Independent after all this? Means nothing to me when he can't re-pay that.
