Can't we just wait for SuperScout to return and tell us all about how great it was and how he enjoyed it being in Moscow?

I thought he'd already been to this a couple of weeks back?

did you see the dog hanging out in the penalty box?

Yeah. Comical when the goalie realised he was next to him. I think the dog must have thought the same about some of the Brazilian's haircuts.

Venezuela were an odd side for thirty minutes, they looked a shambles and Brazil were going to win by two or three. Second half, they were superb and looked the stronger team. Shame tonight's game are so late, I'd rate Chile and Uruguay as the two most watchable sides in the competition.

Argentina failed to win again last night. They have to beat Costa Rica to qualify, although it's very possible a draw will see them qualify.

Following fixtures this weekend:-

  1. Group Match : Friday July 8th
    HD Peru v Mexico 11.15pm
  2. Group Match : Saturday July 9th
    HD Uruguay v Chile 1.45am
  3. Group Match : Saturday July 9th
    HD Brazil v Paraguay 8.00pm
  4. Group Match : Saturday July 9th
    HD Venezuela v Ecuador 10.30pm
  5. Group Match : Sunday July 10th
    HD Columbia v Bolivia 8.00pm
There's been a real lack of goals which is no surprise considering 8 teams qualify from 3 groups. Paraguay will give Brazil a run for their money and no surprise if they beat them. Uruguay v Chile is the most interesting game for me, probably the pair of them are the most attractive teams in South America at the moment.

Argentina are hilariously crap. Even worse than they were under Maradona. Bring back Bilardo!

Christ, Brazil looked even shitter than Argentina!

Best game of the tournament so far though, not that that's saying much, been a really crap tournament so far.

Got a bit interesting in the final group games.

Brazil seen off Ecuador 4-2. Venezuela drew 3-3 against Paraguay, being 3-1 with three minutes to play. Argentina came alive with Gago and Messi. Chile got a last-minute winner to ensure they won Group C.

Quarters are:-
Colombia v Peru
Argentina v Uruguay
Brazil v Paraguay
Chile v Venezuela
