Stanmore is an option.

Traveling time is approx 1 hour.

Jubilee line to either Stratford or Greenwich, get off at London Bridge. Take the overground Southern rail service towards Catherham and get off at Norwood Junction.

Going back is not quite so easy. Travelling time back is approx 1hr 20 mins, with at least one extra change.

There are more than 200 seats remaining in the away end. The figure of 1,000 was just the number of tickets that were sent to Leicester. No point printing and sending more than necessary.
