Made his first trip up to Old John this week with his grandad…. The same grandad that was running round up there with me on his shoulders 30 years ago… The same grandad who slipped and sent me cartwheeling arse over tit down the hill bouncing off the rocks and landing 200 yards away… Explains a lot really.

Way way way off, more like 560 million years old. Charnian rocks were found near Old John you see. Now, if it's Old John Tower you're asking about, well, we are talking 240 years old. However, I suspect you're talking about Ted's little un who I believe would be, what, three by now, Ted?

Braggy, Beacon Hill and Bluebell Woods are still my happy place. Saturday morning at one of those then off to Filbo to watch Muzzy was my childhood.
