Redditch, whilst I do like to read your comments and most of the time agree with what you say, I really wish you would stop coming over as having some sort of superior interlect to some of us 'MUGS' on here.
The above is your opinion, but my opinion of the story is MM did offer Fowler a deal and seeing as it looks as if we have missed out is showing us 'mugs' that he is trying to sign players of this sort.

However, I don't think that will happen and if it does happen, I think there would be lots of problems including paying him a disproportionately high wage with its potential impact on team building andv team spirit.

i think there are cases where it's a smart idea to bring in a 'star' player who is the wrong side of 30....but not Fowler. I think it would result in a big disappointment. But that's just an opinion.
