No comfort there then. The statement that there has been an "no official approach" is a pretty strong implication that there has been an informal approach.

Let's hope that Tuesday next comes without a nasty sting in the tail.

I would be surprised if Milan risks upsetting Nigel Pearson when Nigel has been spending the money so wisely. I don't think we can over-state the influence of banks, accountants and owners who need to balance the books in the way football runs.
