no chance

I saw Matthew Etherington in a pre season friendly last night - orient vs West Ham.

He was class so there's no chance the Hammers are going to let him out on loan. They did however have a yoof player on the other wing called Kyal Reid who was blinding and we'd have a better chance of getting him.

Kyal Reid - you heard it her first

Wasnt he on loan to a championship club last year?

Not sure, but he was a really tricky right winger and seemed a great outlet for the hammers all night. I saw Dean Ashton get a run out, the lads quite big, he reminded me of Lee Trundle - has he always been a bit of a pie eater????

He played for Barnsley last year against us - did anyone see him???

He looked bloody good last night really tricky and with some good pace.

he has had a year off. sounds like justification for his low price tag in the dream team :icon_lol:

Hey - Ashton may be a big lad but he's a quality goal scorer. I have the dubious honour of living in Norwich and saw Ashton for a couple of games when they were in the premiership. His movement and awareness of the game and his positioning is fantastic.

Saw him take a decent goal against Newcastle with a looping header when it looked like he didn't stand a chance. Strange game actually - I saw a rarity - a Kluivert goal!! Only a tap in, but these days he could even miss those!
