Although Hull are likely to be relegated, their position is by no means hopeless.
On paper - they have a potentially good run in with a number of winable games against other struggling teams.
I think that they were justified in sacking Brown to freshen things up for that potential life line. He was lucky to keep his job when Adam Pearson took over a few months ago and looked like he was at the end of his tether. Presumably, given their difficult financial position -if relegated - they are likely to make a short term appointment unless they can pick up someone exceptional. As a short termer, Megson could fit the bill.
In my view, Hull are not as doomed at this point as Portsmouth and Burnley - although I wouldn't put any serious money on them staying up at the expense of Wolves/ Wigan.
