There was a time when Leicester City players seemed to constantly be in trouble. This is the first time I can recall such an incident under Nigel Pearson.

Whatever the fine it may well be a great deal smaller than a fine from the club. Duncan Edwards was fined five shillings (25p) by a court for riding his bike without lights and two weeks wages (£30) by Matt Busby for bringing the club into disrepute. I believe that Knockaert is paid more than Duncan Edwards although I am not convinced that he is a better player.

Thought he was clean of criminal charges whilst at Hull - just a small matter of allegedly head butting a team mate dealt with 'internally'. Anyway given that Hull is about the most cold and boring place in England he'd got to find something to pass the time.
