I was quite wired up to a pacemaker once returning home. After a hour of articifial heart pumping, I was fine to go to sleep.

As I said, I don't like to talk about, but for you, I will.

Mine was mildly painful, then over the next two weeks it became untolerably painful and was dragged to the hospital. After they ruled out a heart attack and a stroke, they began their investigations where they found my heart problems. They were very relieved to find out there was no hemothorax.

The pain is now starting to subside, but expect yours to get significantly worse before it gets better. I hope you can be as brave as I've been, it's a long road to recovery, but one that's worth travelling.

I won't be talking about this again, it's far too upsetting.
