It shouldn't matter. Without wanting to drag out a cliche it's a squad game and a player should be prepared to sit on the bench, not sulk about it or hold it against the club or manager. It's an especially poor attitude I think for a young lad who is here on loan and has never played first team football before to sulk and hold grudges about such things and if true won't stand him in good stead in his future.

Arguably being dropped for no good reason would damage the morale of the squad though. But yes I agree, if he is a sulk then we are better off without him.

Something on that - on Mee specificially I thought he looked a generally good and committed player. But sometimes so committed that he was likely to put in a penalty conceding tackle.

Other people have talked about sulking - I don't think there is any evidence of that. He isn't a kid - he's 22 at the start of the season so naturally he wants to play first team football and based on last season can't rely on Sven for that.

I doubt if we have lost a world beater tho' - Man City have never played him in a signifiicant game.
