Next permanent manager

I don't want anything to do with the awful Man City domination project. Getting excited about the prospect of nurturing their young players is pretty desperate stuff.

We will need to loan players this season, but I really hate the idea of helping them.
We are in a desperate position

He's a huge risk. We have our largest parachute payment and Premier League players. Yes they played shit but there were multiple reasons for that and for us going down. The majority are PL-level players.

We need to bring someone on with some sort of experience of this league or a good level of football management. Not a complete gamble on someone who's only experience was with a Serie B team where he did an average job.

This could be the right appointment at the wrong time. Someone who needs maybe 2 or 3 seasons isn’t what we need right now. What separates us and the rest is the parachute payments and the superior players. Say what you want but I want to give it our all to bounce back ASAP. We can then rebuild etc., in the Premier League.

I hope I'm proved very very wrong if we appoint Enzo but Parker is the obvious choice. 2 promotions in 2 attempts speaks for itself.

I agree. It’s lunacy.

Kolo Toure.

He's 'managed' in the Championship.
He knows our players.

Perfect.

Athletic reporting that Maresca is unable to bring some support staff with him due to work permit issues.

And so it begins.

We've got Stowell, Sadler, Shakey and JT to help him out in the job he seems totally unsuited for

All is fine

Just waiting on the announcement of new manager - Enzo!!

Cole Palmer - attacker/No10. Liam Delap (son of Rory), attacker. Carlos Borgos - left winger
Oscar Bobb - attacking midfielder. Finley Burns - centre half. Jaden Heskey (son of Emile)

6 names now being lauded as possible loans from Man City

It’s sad that we’re going to end up suckling at the teat of Manchester City but needs must.

Can’t get remotely excited about any of this to be honest but I’m sure that’ll change when they start kicking a football again.
